Karen Beckner is proud to be a lifelong resident of Van Buren. Driven by her deep love for this community and championing its people, she brings her special blend of compassion and determination to the table for every client. 

Relationship building is second nature to Karen. A true teacher and advocate with 34 years of experience in education, it has been the key to every success she has had–and the real estate industry is no different. Getting to know her buyers and sellers, what they like, dislike, and hope to achieve, enables her to create a clear goal for the transaction itself. Whether she’s looking for new construction or a property with history, Karen has a laser focus on helping her clients realize their dreams. Her passion for the River Valley and intimate knowledge of the area are huge assets, allowing her to find and present what others may overlook. Recognizing potential in both properties and people, she has a gift for seeing beyond what is into what could be, opening doors of possibility for everyone she works with. 

Service has been a constant in Karen’s life. Beyond education, she serves as part of the Matthew 25 Back to School Bash, which provides 1,200 students with school supplies, and the John 9:7 Project, which works with Hope Campus to provide practical resources to the homeless community and helps place individuals with jobs and homes. Karen is very family oriented, and she and her husband have three children and one grandson. She also loves the outdoors and can be found hiking, camping,
